Hi! I’m Julie — but please, call me Jules.

I am the founder of Caribbean Travel Experience, a unique travel agency that specializes in vacations to St John, US Virgin Islands.

I’m the heart behind Caribbean Travel Experience, and my journey to creating unforgettable island escapes began long before I ever stepped foot in the Caribbean. I grew up in Colorado, surrounded by towering mountains, wild trails, and endless skies — a place that sparked my lifelong love of nature and adventure.

That same love eventually led me to St. John, where the turquoise water, mountainous island backdrops, and lush landscapes felt like home from the moment I arrived. The island’s spirit captured me, and I knew I wanted to help others experience that same feeling of wonder and connection.

Today, I blend my Colorado roots with my Caribbean soul — crafting travel experiences that are warm, personal, and full of natural beauty. Whether I’m guiding you to my favorite beaches, sharing local gems, or helping plan a once-in-a-lifetime escape, my goal is always the same: to make your trip feel effortless, meaningful, and truly unforgettable.

I have called St John my home for the past 14 years, along with my husband David. We have a wild story of how we made our way to this little island and we continue to be amazed each day, that we call it home.
